Primary School Visits

At Cabragh Wetlands we can guarantee a fun-filled,curriculum based experience for very reasonable rates!
Children are given the chance to discover their natural heritage through activities in the pond, bird-hide and hedgerow. The day includes an orienteering challenge to test their navigation and team-work skills, while also satisfying children’s natural curiosity in the world around them!
Each tour lasts about 3 hours and includes a break for lunch. Prices start at €3 per child.

Butterfly monitoring workshop

The National Biodiversity Center are running at Cabragh Wetlands a Butterfly monitoring workshop on the 5th of June 2016 from 10 a.m until 4 p.m. The workshop will be hosted by Oisin Duffy and will involve monitoring and identification of butterflies found at Cabragh.
